I purchased this center channel from best buy and it provides excellent sound. I bought a DVD of Tom Petty live in concert and when I cranked it up it felt like I was in the front row…absolutely incredible. The vocals come through crystal clear proving an excellent experience. I have this center connected to an Onkyo 607 with TSI 400’s as my front speakers. Sound quality is excellent from Polk.

The center channel has handled everything I’ve throw at it fairly well. Much better for TV/Movies than for music though. I would buy it again, but right after I bought it for $149, it was available elsewhere for $119. It’s a steal at that price.

In case you’re like me… I didn’t realize how big this speaker is. It’s bigger than my dvr and dvd stacked together. Now as for the sound quality… I love the sound it puts out. I have some older Polk Audio Speakers and with the center channel addition, it sounds great. For the record, I’m an average music listener. I couldn’t begin to tell you specs on what I’m hearing. I can just say… I like it.

For the price I have been very impressed with the overall sound quality of this speaker as part of my home theater. I didn’t want to invest big bucks for my basement theater and this speaker have delivered great sound for the buck. I stayed with the compatable rear surround ceiling speakers, in-wall speakers and sub woofer.

I have been making purchases from Amazon and its sellers for as long as I remember. This is my first time registering a complaint because of a seller. I am sorely disappointed and will strongly warn potential buyers to stay away from this seller. Unfortunately, since this is my first time filing a complaint, though the seller has stated he has returned (credited) my credit card, he has not and I do not know what else to do.
