Well the tv is really bad. The style isnt pretty and not only that, the signal specially UHF and VHF Signal is really poor well actually you cant see anything. the program that comes whith the tv to try catch tv signal its really hard to understand and to operate.
We got this TV to use in our RV when camping. However, upon connecting it to an external antenna, we could not pick up ANY channels most of the time. No matter how we positioned the antenna. Don’t know if a “smart antenna” will help, but am considering. Very disappointing. Can get more channels using old analog TV with converter box. It seems that if the channel does not come in picture perfect it will not scan in that channel. Used to be that we could pick up any number of channels, and while they may not have been crytal clear, they were good enough to watch and sound was good. Not anymore with this digital age, now it’s either perfect or none at all. Not too happy campers are we!!!
I purchased this tv for my terrace.I have it connected via 5.8 receiver /transmitter and the picture is crystal clear.The picture quality is almost as good as my primary tv.I would strongly recommend this tv.
I took a chance buying this off-brand TV with the hopes it would live up to it’s hype and I really wasn’t disappointed. I hooked up this TV to a foamboard/aluminum foil antenna that I got plans for off of the net and I swear the thing looks like it is getting nice HDTV pictures. As with any TV, you need a good signal but this one doesn’t disappoint. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was that I wish it had battery power. ON the other hand, they do include a car adapter and AC adapter. And since it doesn’t have a rechargeable battery or other battery pack, it is very light weight.
I had been Looking at this little TV as well as others on line and on Amazon for some time. I decided on this one… I received this TV on Feb 20th one day after the DTV date.. I tried to tune the stations in and it did not pick up one Digital Station in my area.. Poorly received two UHF channels.. The Product claims it has A/V in. It does not unless you consider the Coaxial as the A/V in.. The manual talked considerable about the battery pack as though it should be included. There is no battery pack. I shipped it back immediately.
Many of the Little Portable TV’s out there are not ATSC (Digital) Some are saying they are and are not… It’s misleading. If you want a small TV like this for your Kitchen or another area of your house to hook to cable etc, it might work just fine… I my self want a small AC/DC TV for instances of Power Outages and Emergency situations. That is the only reason. The Manufacturers have not had much time to produce the New Portable ATSC TVs So not many out there right now.. I did find one on line and bought it. Search for LCDTV7ATSC I found Exactly what I wanted! I had to pay more for it, but would rather pay for something that works. I now have a Quality Working Product.. B. Dawson Tulsa, OK
