I am using it with a jbl on time clock radio/ipod speaker system and it sounds great. The controls are easy to get to and you can get a variety of different sounds from deep sub bass to more musical mid bass. The only draw back that I could find would be the the volume of the unit. It is perfect for my application but if I was using it for my home theater it might not be powerful enough.
