I bought a few of these external hard drives a few months ago. The transfer rate is very quick. They do not over heat, they stay very cool. They are heavy and sturdy and have ample amount of storage space. I would highly recommend these hard drives. They DO have the most important on/off switch which a lot of hard drives don’t these days. They are pre-formatted to NTSF, so they are PC friendly right out of the box. They also feature “one touch copying” but I have not tried that yet. A great buy at a great price.
